Paper maps aren't like Google maps!
People have used maps, rather than GPS, for centuries. The ability to read a map is still important.
Also notice that there is a legend, a compass, and a scale, just like you're used to seeing on most maps.
Use the folded (and now YOUR) map of Oklahoma to find the following places:
- Altus Air Force Base
- Ardmore
- Arkansas River
- Black Mesa
- Boley
- Canadian River
- Fort Gibson
- Great Salt Plains
- Guthrie
- Interstate 35
- Interstate 40
- Langston
- Little Sahara
- McAlester
- Norman
- Red Bird
- Tahlequah
- Tinker Air Force Base
- Wichita Mountains
and mark them on your blank map (as best as you can).
