Week 2 OK

  • Due Jan 13, 2017 by 11:59pm
  • Points 20
  • Submitting a file upload
  • File Types doc, docx, and pdf

It's time to learn how to journal during the beginning of class.

1.  Each week, create a Google doc for journaling.  You will turn it in at the end of the week.

2.  Name your new doc with the week # and your name.
(Don't leave it Untitled.  You'll never find it to submit it!)
      ex:  yourname week 2

3.  Copy and paste the daily questions (see below) into the Google doc.

4.  While the music plays, you WILL write (type).

a. Don't stop.  Just keep writing.

b. Done answering the prompt?  KEEP WRITING!

c. You can always write about anything you want.  It just needs to be in English and 'normal' sentence format.  (Don't worry too much about grammar, spelling, or punctuation, though.)

d. Stop writing when the music stops, not before.

e. Don't write your journals ahead of time!

5.  Each day, as class begins, we will journal.  This is worth 10% of your grade (a full letter grade).

Everyday, by the time the bell rings,
have your Chromebook open and ready to journal.

Week 2 Prompts:

Monday, 1-9:  What does it take to be a good student?  A good teacher?.

Tuesday, 1-10:  What are some favorite songs you would like to hear  during journal time? (Please give me the Artist - Title of Song.)

Wednesday, 1-11/Thursday, 1-12:  If you could change only ONE thing about this class so far, what would it be?

Friday, 1-13:  Describe your favorite place to eat in Tulsa.

6.  Each daily entry is worth 5 points.  If you do not show the required effort, you will not receive full points.

7.  You DO need to make up journals from days you are not present. You may make up missed journals or submit late journals at any time without losing points.
